Events This Week

Monday, May 5th: Family Home Evening - In honor of Cinco de Mayo, there will be a party held by the Stake from 6:30pm to 8:30pm with tacos, dessert, piñatas, and games! Though previously planned to be held at our chapel, due to a forecast of rain it has been moved to a different chapel at 695 S 200 E, Farmington.

Tuesday, May 6th: Institute (New Semester) - The beginning of summer semester at Institute classes is here! Classes will continue to be held at 6:30pm Tuesday nights at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful) followed by dinner at 7:30pm. Summer semester will have 4 classes: Teachings of the Living Prophets, Parables of Jesus, Recent Returned Missionaries, and Mission Preparation.

Later Events 

Friday and Saturday, June 20th and 21st: Ward Summer Activity - Our ward will be holding an overnight camp out at East Canyon. There will be hiking, climbing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and more! Events will begin at 1:00pm on Friday. More details will be forthcoming as the event draws closer, but get it in your calendars now!

Friday to Sunday, August 29th to 31st: YSA Conference - This fall there will be another Utah Area conference for all YSA. Registration opens April 9th, get your ticket before August 1st for only $25. After that tickets will increase to $50. Across the three days there will be a series of events at the Salt Palace Convention Center, a concert at America First Field, and a devotional at the Conference Center. In preparation for the conference, there will also be two series of temple days. The first series will be April 9th to 12th, although because the Bountiful Temple will be closed at that time our Stake will hold the first series from May 1st to 3rd. The second series will be August 26th to 28th. For more information, keep an eye on utahysaconference.org

Ongoing Ward Events

3rd Thursday of the Month (ongoing): Ward Temple Night - Our ward holds regular monthly temple nights. Join fellow ward members at the Bountiful Temple (640 S Bountiful Blvd, Bountiful) at 7:00pm. A dinner is typically held beforehand at the Ensign’s house also, although the exact details vary. Temple workers strongly encourage us to make appointments. You are expected to make your own appointment for the ordinance you would like to participate in.

Thursdays (ongoing): Pickleball - You are welcome to join members of the ward for some casual pickleball every Thursday night at 6:30pm at Washington Park (450 W 740 S, Bountiful). Pickleball is canceled if it would conflict with ward temple night.

Tuesdays (ongoing): Stake Interviews for Temple Recommends and Ecclesiastical Endorsements - The Stake Presidency is available Tuesday evenings from 6:00-7:00pm for temple recommend renewal and ecclesiastical endorsement interviews. Come to the stake offices (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful, downstairs) during this time. No appointment necessary. If that time doesn't work for you, please contact Brother Neil Horne, 385-419-5590, to schedule another time.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Book of Mormon Study with the Missionaries - Join the ward and full time missionaries each week at 7:00pm at the Central Hub (165 S 1000 E, Bountiful) for an uplifting evening of studying the word of God.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Women - The Bountiful YSA Stake is hosting a weekly Addiction Recovery Program. The class for sisters is held at 7:30pm on Wednesday evenings in the Farmington Jr. High Seminary Building (150 S 200 W, Farmington). This class is facilitated by Naomi Okleberry with the help of some wonderful service missionaries. For more information, contact your Bishop or Naomi.

Wednesdays (ongoing): Addiction Recovery Program for Men - The Bountiful YSA Stake is hosting a weekly Addiction Recovery Program. The class for brethren is held every Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Centerville Jr. High Seminary Building (625 S Main Street, Centerville). The class is facilitated by Brother Kevin Young. If you have any questions, feel free to call Brother Young at 801-721-42-24.
